About Thai Palm Price
Thai Palm Price tracks daily palm-oil prices, focused on Thailand’s top three producing provinces (Surat Thani, Krabi, Chumphon) and the related downstream markets. It is intended as reference information for growers, mill operators, traders, and anyone following the Thai palm-oil industry.
Data sources
- Department of Internal Trade (MEX), Ministry of Commerce — Bangkok wholesale prices for crude and refined palm oil, updated each business day (mex.moc.go.th)
- Provincial Offices of Commercial Affairs — daily mill-gate buying prices for fresh fruit bunches, published as PDF documents (suratthani / krabi / chumphon .moc.go.th)
- Bank of Thailand — reference exchange rates (MYR/USD, THB/MYR) via the BOT Open API
- Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) — CPO and RBD PO/PL/ST prices for the Malaysian market (login integration pending)

All prices shown are reference values only and do not represent actual transaction prices, which depend on the specific mill, fruit quality, volume, and timing. The site does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the data and accepts no liability arising from its use.
Update schedule
In production, scrapers run each business day between 18:30 and 19:30 (Asia/Bangkok) via Railway Cron and write to Postgres. Without a deployed DB you can refresh the cache locally with pnpm tsx scripts/scrape-now.ts.
